Curly Top Baby

These Alpacas are bred for their fine wool, used for many articles of clothing.

Photography is my relaxing hobby and provides me with inspiration about the beauty that surrounds each and every one of us, never take it for granted! If you like my photos please comment and let me know what I need to do to improve myself, definitely room for that....

The sweaters smell like alpaca for many years following. Very warm though and water resistant. Nice shot.

@Mary: I have a scarf made of Alpaca wool, made by a student's parent, it is very soft and I cherish it.

What was the lighting like there? Are you in a large barn?

@blistr: Actually, my flash went off, but is is rather bright in this complex. The farm show building is a huge complex ( brick) built at the begining of the century to house the county's largest inside display of animals , equipment etc. It recently had a great expansion of a new wing allowing huge combines and other implements to be shown as well. IT now has rodeos, auctions, 4H events, car shows, just to name a few. Every hotel is usually booked in the Harrisburg area for this yearly event in January. It is known to snow during this week, and jokingly if it doesn't, people are quite disappointed. Individuals visit from all over the counrty, hundreds of vendors display their wares as well and the food, is fabulous. What else can I can. Loads of fun.
