A Wooly Beast

Washington kept many types of livestock on his plantation, cattle and sheep were two of those seen as we toured the grounds.

Photography is my relaxing hobby and provides me with inspiration about the beauty that surrounds each and every one of us, never take it for granted! If you like my photos please comment and let me know what I need to do to improve myself, definitely room for that....

The sheep was big! good light here, I wonder what he was thinking when standing there against the wall and are photographed by you?

@micke: I think under that wooly coat he may look alot smaller. He appeares very docile, used to tourists.

@Alphons: Ja, de wol is dik. Schapen hebben een goede visie, van de zijde van hun ogen, kan bijna zien achter hen. Funny!

@PeterFH: Yes, he could have used a real clipping, I guess he will keep this coat till spring though, gets kind of cold even in Virginia.

@EYES WIDE SHUT: I thnk he may just have been tired of tourists prying into his business..... HE was beautiful though, the who estate was incredible.

@Bill: As always Bill, thank you for your comments, Have a great weekend. We are expecting snow tonight, what is always expected the week of Farm Show, in Harrisburg, PA. I plan to visit later this week and of course bring my camera, unfortunatley, if one goes in teh evening or weekend it is like "herding people " to see the enimals and equipment.
