micke from SwedenWOW a good angle. Beautifully .. really good photo, if I must coma with no criticism, I would, therefore, I cut the right corner a bit so that the building which was removed. Fast it is beautiful as it is, do not forget it .. :) Well done 8 Jan 2009 5:11am @micke: Thank you, I agree with cutting the corner of the house, I shall try to do that, a friend wants a print of this anyway. Happy Friday! PeterFH from Gothenburg, SwedenBeautiful scenery with an amazing light, just lovely. 8 Jan 2009 5:16am @PeterFH: Thank you Peter, this is my side yard. This photo was taken last year, some would think 2 days ago as it looked just like this , very slippery and cold. Bill from Belton, United StatesThe light is simply marvelous in this shot Denise! Beautiful, frosty glow everywhere! 8 Jan 2009 5:35am @Bill: I took this last year after an ice storm with a quick rise in temps afterward. @Fade ToBLACK: Thank you for your kind comment. Nacho from Salem, OR, United StatesDenise, what I like best about this shot is the color palette, the shadows, and the fact that the ice seems to be melting off the branches at the very moment of seeing it! How totally cool. The lens flare is intriguing, it did not leave a trail. Thanks Denise! 8 Jan 2009 4:30pm @Nacho: Your comments are very kind, thank you, it is one of our favorite photos of this past year. Mary from PA, United StatesWasn't this fantastic!! (Not if you had to drive in it)...Love this image ... with the close up branches and the distant objects. Everything is just glistening. The sun didn't come out this much at my house...it peeked through a little and then more clouds came.Beautiful capture, Denise!! :) 8 Jan 2009 4:53pm @Mary: Hi Mary, Actually I took this photo last year around this time on a snow /ice day off from school, it was just coincidental that I posted it on this date as I put it on 1 1/2 weeks ago.... Thanks for the comment though, it is agian, one of my hsuband's favorite shots from the old camera. MonsterAutopsy from Spruce Grove, CanadaWow.
